Nerve Conduction Study (NCS)

Nerve conduction studies are very helpful to diagnosis certain diseases of the nerves of the body and nerve injury. The test is noninvasive. Nerve conduction studies are performed to evaluate the ability of nerves to conduct impulses and the speed. NCS can indicate the extent of the nerve damage and the part of the nerve that is affected.

Pulmonary Function Test

Pulmonary function tests or breathing test are to evaluate respiratory health. This test is used to help diagnosis COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and other lung diseases.

Echocardiogram (ECHO)

An Echocardiogram is a test used to evaluate the action of the heart. This test/ultrasound uses sound waves to create a moving picture of the heart. The picture is much more detailed than a plain x-ray image and involves NO radiation exposure.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)

Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring involves measuring your blood pressure for 24 hours as you go about your daily routine and when asleep. This unit measures the maximum and minimum pressure by the heart. It's a simple and painless procedure that gives a lot of useful information about the heart and condition of the blood vessels.

24 Holter Monitor

A Holter Monitor is a portable device that continuously records the heart's rhythms. The monitor is usually worn for 24-48 hours during normal activity. Holter Monitor is extremely safe and no different than carrying around a small tape recorder for 24 hours.

Noninvasive Vascular Testing

Noninvasive vascular testing is the first step in diagnosing vascular disease. Doppler ultrasound is used to determine the direction and speed of blood flow and whether there is a blockage within a blood vessel. Testing is safe and noninvasive.

Stress Test

Stress test is a screening tool to test the effect of exercise on your heart. It provides an overall look at the health of heart. This test involves walking on a treadmill while the activity of your heart is measured and blood pressure readings are taken.

Nuclear Stress Test

Nuclear stress test is a diagnosistic test used to evaluate blood flow to the heart. During the test, a small amount of medicine is injected into a vein. A special camera, called a gamma camera, detects the medicine released by the tracer to produce computer images of the heart. Combined with exercise, the test can help determine if there is adequate blood flow to the heart during activity versus at rest.
